at the Bala Golf Club, Philadelphia
On Wednesday, June 18, 2003, the founders and partners of Philadelphia-based Banyan Productions were our speakers. The meeting was held, as usual, at the Bala Golf Club in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.
Banyan produces 500 hours of cable programming per year. "Trading Spaces" is just one of their many shows which run on "The Learning Channel," Discovery and HGTV; just to name a few.
Jan, a native of the Delaware Valley, before starting Banyan worked at several TV stations around town. Susan, Jan's wife, was Executive Producer of KYW-TV's "Evening Magazine" which was co-hosted by Ray Murray. All three are members of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia. We have complete audio of their remarks.
We have a video clip from each of our three speakers from that mid-June afternoon at the Bala Golf Club in Philadelphia.
