Broadcast Pioneers member Ivory Blackwood has a diverse career in broadcasting, stage, screen and print. She has been a popular favorite on WPEN in Philadelphia, WJBR-FM in Wilmington, De., WRDR-FM in Atlantic City, and Coast 107 in Tampa Bay.

Blackwood is very much in demand for voiceovers and industrial narrations, with her smooth, professional and warm delivery. Ivory's favorite on-camera experience was portraying Marilyn Monroe in a series of promos for "Philly 57" TV during a tribute week to Monroe. Ivory Blackwood was also heard for many years by thousands of casino-goers and radio listeners playing the famous "Marina the Mermaid" character for Harrah's in Atlantic City.
