This is the event that college students waited for all year! Once again, it was our annual Broadcast Pioneers Symposium. Area college students saw first hand a major market television station listened to advice from their staff. This year, our 14th annual event was held at the studios of CBS 3, KYW-TV. The date was Saturday morning, November 7, 2015.
Our MC was Larry Litwin, former KYW Newsradio news reporter. Opening remarks by our CEO, Gerry Wilkinson, former Operations Manager for WDAS Radio and a former WHYY television producer. Also speaking was Joanne Calabria, Vice-President for Public Affairs for CBS 3. Our panel consisted of:
