On Saturday, April 12, 2003, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia held its second annual Broadcast Symposium. This year's event was held at the studios of CBS 3, KYW-TV in Center City Philadelphia. Here's some video clips from what the different people said that day. Be aware that the video was state of the art in 2003, but by today's standards, it leaves alot to be desired. Watch Larry Litwin! He talked about how he got to KYW Newsradio.

Watch David Madden! He talked about his first broadcasting pay check which was while he was still in high school.

Watch Matt Pitzer! He talked about how jobs in this business aren't 9 to 5.

Watch Tom Lamaine on the air! The "green screen" behind Tom is used so that the engineers can chromakey in the different weather maps. While they were on a graphic, Lamaine walked back to the anchor desk. Tom's squeaking shoes were not picked up by his microphone.
