This 1964 photo is of KYW Newsradio's Don Lancer when he worked at WOLF Radio in Syracuse, New York (same station where Dick Clark got his start in 1951).

Pictured with Don (who was Rock Jock "Big Daddy" Don Lancer on the air) is the station's receptionist, Meg Bowden.

Meg also did voice-overs for WOLF and lives here in Philly working for a nationally known firm.

Don Lancer is now in his 4th decade with the all news operation, KYW, 1060. Coming to Philly in 1970 from WKBW in Buffalo, Lancer is one of the longest-running voices on the all-news operation.
