In 1964, comedian legend Ed Wynn visited WCAU Talk Host Ed Harvey. He appeared on Harvey's "The Talk of Philadelphia" radio broadcast.

Ed Wynn is a native Philadelphian. Born here on November 9, 1886, he went on to become a legend in the field of comedy. He had his own radio program and when TV came along in the late forties, "The Ed Wynn Show" became a family favorite. Wynn, whose real name is Isaiah Edwin Leopold, once said, "A comedian is not a man who says funny things. A comedian is one who says things funny." He died at the age of 89 of cancer on June 19, 1966.
