Tuesday October 17, 1989 was the day of Broadcast Pioneers member Bill Bransome's retirement party at the Bellevue-Strafford Hotel in center city Philadelphia. Bransome had spent a quarter of a century on KYW Newsradio plus other duties before. On that day, Harry Donahue on his KYW Newsradio's feature "Time Out," paid tribute to Bill Bransome.
