For the first four years of the television era, "The Children's Hour" originated from 1622 Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. In 1952, the station's facilities moved to City Line Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.

The man in the center of this photograph may be Hugh Walton who did the announcing on the program. This has not yet been confirmed.
